About Madelaine

A young woman with long dark hair, smiling, wearing a yellow cardigan and light blue jeans, sitting in front of a large window with a white roller shade partially rolled up. Behind her, there are brick building windows and a street scene outside.

Madelaine Ingles has a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto where she holds the position of Adjunct Lecturer and supports clinical education. She is registered in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). Madelaine is certified with Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) where she has declared a professional interest in Speech, Language, and Literacy Development. Before opening Madelaine Ingles Speech & Language, Madelaine worked for six years as a member of the inpatient Speech Language Pathology team at Sickkids Hospital, providing assessment and intervention to kids and teens in the medical setting.

Madelaine’s interests include early intervention, school age language development, motor speech disorders, autism spectrum disorders, gestalt language processing, articulation, social communication, acquired brain injury, and literacy.

In 2023, Madelaine launched Mingle & Babble, a play-based baby-caregiver program designed to put parents in the driver’s seat when it comes to encouraging baby’s early language development. In 2024, inspired by her own son’s ever expanding language, she created Toddle & Talk, a program that grows with your child.

Madelaine is trained in PROMPT and certified in Hanen’s ‘It Takes Two to Talk’ and ‘More than Words’ Programs, and incorporates caregiver involvement/parent training into every speech and language session.
